Data Deletion

How to delete the data Project Echo stores about your connected Meta (Facebook) account.

What we store

When you connect your Meta (Facebook) Ads account to Project Echo, we store your Meta access token, the selected ad account ID, the token expiry, and your Meta user ID. We use these only to manage the ad campaigns you ask Project Echo to manage on your behalf.

How to delete it

  1. Log in to Project Echo and open Echo.
  2. Click Disconnect on your Meta connection. This immediately and permanently deletes your stored Meta credentials from our database.

You can also trigger deletion from Facebook: in Settings & Privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites, remove Project Echo. Meta will notify us and we will delete your stored data.

Prefer email? Write to hello@projectecho.app with the subject “Meta data deletion” and we will remove your stored Meta data within 30 days.

Note: Disconnecting in Project Echo removes only the data Project Echo stored. It does not change or delete anything inside your Meta/Facebook account. To manage data Meta holds, use your Facebook account settings.
