Terms of Service
Last updated October 7, 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and Project Echo (“Project Echo,” “we,” “us”), for using the Project Echo app and everything that comes with it (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to them. If you use Project Echofor a business, you agree for that business, and you confirm you are allowed to.
Your account
You must be at least 18 and give accurate information when you sign up. Keep your password and any access tokens you create private; you are responsible for what happens under your account, including anything an AI assistant or teammate you give access to does. Tell us at hello@projectecho.app if you think your account has been misused.
Early access
Project Echo is young and changing quickly. Features may be added, changed or removed, and some are marked beta. We will tell you ahead of time before removing something you pay for.
Plans and billing
- Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or yearly, through Stripe, and renew automatically until you cancel.
- Free trials last the length shown when you start one (currently 14 days). Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your plan starts and you are charged.
- You can cancel at any time in Settings or by emailing hello@projectecho.app. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep access until the end of the period you paid for.
- Except where the law says otherwise, payments are non-refundable, including for partial periods.
- We may change prices. We will give you at least 30 days’ notice, and the new price applies from your next renewal.
- Prices do not include taxes, which you are responsible for where they apply.
Your content
What you put into Project Echo (your tasks, notes, recordings, contacts, files and content) is yours, and so is what Project Echo makes for you from it. You give us permission to host, copy, process and transmit it only as needed to run the Service for you, including sending it to the service providers described in our Privacy Policy. You confirm you have the rights to what you upload and to the contact details you store.
AI-generated work
Echo drafts scripts, posts, emails, images, summaries and suggestions using AI. AI can be wrong: it can get facts, numbers and names wrong or produce something similar to other people’s work. Project Echo points out the claims it made so you can check them, but you are responsible for reviewing anything before you publish, send or rely on it. Nothing Project Echo produces is legal, medical, financial or other professional advice.
Email, posting and your contacts
When you use Project Echo to email, message or post, you are the sender. You must follow the laws that apply to you, including anti-spam and consent laws such as CAN-SPAM, TCPA and GDPR: only contact people who have agreed to hear from you or where the law otherwise allows it, identify yourself honestly, and honor unsubscribes (the Service adds an unsubscribe link and suppresses people who use it). You must also follow the rules of any platform you connect, such as Meta, Google and GoHighLevel. We may pause sending that harms deliverability or breaks these terms.
What you can’t do
- Break the law, or help anyone else break it.
- Send spam, or content that is deceptive, harassing, hateful, or infringes someone else’s rights.
- Upload malware or try to get into accounts, data or systems that aren’t yours.
- Overload, disrupt or reverse-engineer the Service, or scrape it except through the access we provide (such as MCP tokens).
- Resell the Service or use it to build a competing product.
Connected services
Project Echo works with services run by others, such as Google, Meta, GoHighLevel, Stripe and AI providers. Your use of them is governed by their terms. They can change or stop working, and we are not responsible for them. When you connect one, you let us access it on your behalf as described in the Privacy Policy.
Our service
The Service, including its software, design and the Project Echo name, belongs to us. We grant you a personal, non-transferable right to use it under these terms while your account is active. If you send us feedback, we may use it without owing you anything.
Ending the agreement
You can stop using Project Echo and close your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts other users or the Service at risk, and will tell you why unless the law or safety prevents it. After your account closes you can ask us for a copy of your data within 30 days; after that we delete it as the Privacy Policy describes.
Disclaimers
We work hard to keep Project Echo running and your data safe, but the Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties, express or implied, including of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, and we don’t promise it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or produce any particular business result.
Limit of liability
To the extent the law allows, Project Echo is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim about the Service is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and $100. Some places don’t allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.
Indemnity
If someone brings a claim against Project Echo because of your content, the messages you send, or your breaking these terms or the law, you will cover the reasonable costs of that claim, including legal fees.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top, and for significant changes tell you by email or in the app at least 14 days before they take effect. Continuing to use Project Echo after that means you accept them.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming and applicable United States federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Before filing any claim, please email hello@projectecho.app so we can try to resolve it informally first.
The rest
These terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between us about the Service. If a part of them can’t be enforced, the rest still applies. If we don’t enforce something right away, we haven’t given it up. You can’t transfer these terms without our consent; we may transfer them as part of a merger or sale of the business.
